Panasonic LCD connections

Having just taken the plunge on a new Panasonic TX32LXD85 LCD (to replace my CRT), I'm confused over the best way to connect to a standard skybox and a Panasonic DVD recorder. I know the skybox only has scart connections and the DVD recorder has scart and component (no HDMI). What would be the best configuration (I record off of SKY as very poor signal through arial). Also what sort of quality cables should I buy.

Scart Sky to DVD recorder, another Scart recorder to TV. Job done.

QED Sqart or Philex Thor should be more than good enough.

Is there no need / benefit of a third scart between sky and lcd as well?

With standard Sky box probably not, but maybe worth comparing the direct connection with the 'via the DVD recorder' one, and adding an extra Scart if you think it makes a difference.
