which of the above would be best used with my denon avr1911. ive got £200.00 to spend but cant decide. help please. the pioneer is availavble locally to me for £170 and the panasonic 210 is £180 and panasonic 310 is £200. i dont have a 3d tv so this feature wont be used yet.

If it were me i would go for one of the Panasonics, they seem to have very good reviews & less problems than the Pioneers of late.

RS are doing the Panasonics DMPBDT210 for £149.95 & the DMPBDT310 for £199.95 + you get the 3 free Star Wars BluRay films, which if you dont want you can always sell on, therefore reducing the price of the player.

The 3D portion is just a feature, as most have improved the audio & picture quality of 2D, so in you case is just there for possible future upgrades.

thanks . is there actually much difference between 210 and 310?

The 310 has 2 HDMI outputs useful if you want to run a projector & tv in 2 seperate rooms, a slight of hand draw opening from the top sensor & from all accounts slightly better audio quality according to the reviews. It just boils down to what you want out of the BD Player, I would suggest you have an audition of both if possible.

Another option would be to buy one of the older 2D models available like the Pioneer LX52/53 or Denon 2500BT for example, if loading times are not important to you but picture & sound quality are & you dont need things like 3D, internet apps or wireless functions.
