panasonic blue ray player

does anyone know if the BD50 will play multi region DVD's?? My collection is quite a mix.

I saw an advert on a HIFI website over the past couple of days that said that the DVD is multiregion but the Blu Ray is region "B"

The unit isn't inherently multiregion for either BD or DVD, but many retailers are modding them for multiregion DVD use - check before you buy!

The one i bought from Amazon is def. not multi region , any one know how it's done?
