Onkyo TX-SR875 or Onkyo TX-Sr606

I do not know which one to choose? I would like to be able to have a good sound for both music and films, is the 606 powerful enough for front floor speakers and small wall mounted rears?

Depends which floorstanders we're talking about, but at the current discount prices I'd go for an 875

Go for the 875 i picked mine up for £599 absolute bargain - far better than the 606 in my opinion!

I paid the full £1k for my 875, and I've no regrets. For £599 I'd be all over it like white on rice.

If you are going to use for music as well go for a 875 it's much better than a 606.
