Hi Team

I have managed to bag myself an Onkyo 616.While reading througn the manual,it said using banana plug for speakers is prohibited and I was wondering is this this a good practice.Does it have any negative effect of the sound production or the amp in general

see below-this is a copy of the manual

Any suggestions is welcomed

regards

IIvan

It's some sort of EU law after some idiot put power cables into the speaker terminal, just remove the bung and use a bannana plug you will be fine.
