Onkyo CS515 - which i-pod doc do I need?

I bought the above system for my DH at Xmas and now want to get him an i-pod and doc to go with it. Having had a look I am really confused as to which doc is compatable with this system - not sure where he has put the instructions and can't ask as it's a suprise. There are 4 versions on Onkyo's website. Can anyone tell me if they are all compatable? Also I assume that if I bought an i-pod Nano the doc would work with that or will he need the video version?

Finally, any recommendations for a compatable sub-woofer for this system?

Onkyo DS-A2B will do but almost any Ipod dock can be connected as it's just intp a pair of standard RCA connectors.
