Onkyo 606/MA RS6: good for music in stereo?

Is the Onkyo TX-SR 606 whit MA RS6 speakers good for stereo music/movie?

The amps arent that great for music, you'd get much better performance from a stereo amp. I have a 507 and use it for movies, with a little music though, and it is pretty good for an all round setup.
