on wall speakers

Hey guys I need to buy new stereo channel speakers.Currently got cyrus 8XPd amp.i know having speaker on wall will never replace proper stand but unfortunately I can not do any other way.Can someone recommend some very good ones.Even some slim floorstanders speakers.thanks in advance

I have some Spendor SR5s as rear speakers on the wall and the quality of the sound is impressive for an on-the-wall speaker. I got them cheap as they were the old model - I don't know if the mark 2s are a significant step up. They might be a bit bass-light.

You could put some Wilson Benesch Square Ones on wall brackets but they are quite a bit more money.

I would consider Totem Arros if you can get away with slim floorstanders. I have a friend with Cyrus CD8x + 8vs2 with them and they sound good near a rear wall.
