Old Sony Amp only playing out of one channel

Hi,

I have an old Sony TA AX4 Amp which has recently begun only playing sound out of the left speaker. I have checked the speakers themselves and the input and determined that these are not the problem. I have also tried connecting the speakers through 'Speaker A' and 'Speaker B' inputs and in both cases sound will only play out of the left speaker.

Does anyone know what the most likely cause of this would be and if it is fixable?

I don't know if it is fixable, however I would be wary of spending much on getting it fixed, because this site http://www.audioidiots.com/merk.apparaat.php?apparaatID=2151 suggests that the mean second hand price for such amplifiers is less that 20 euros (approx £15).

If it's an old one dance up and down in the air shout YAY because it's probably time to upgrade and get a new one.

Yeah that's what I thought would be the case. Thought I'd ask in case there was anything obvious.
