should do - i beleive it works like a little pre amp - so the output i think rom what i have read also goes through the opamp so buy changing that chip alters the sound out of lineout also

will know for def this weekend as will be setting one up with a squeezebox, cyrus 7 amp and pair of focal 908s in my computer room

well the big difference is this has a dac in it as well so is perfect for anything that can output a digital signal - also has a usb dac so is perfect for connecting to a computer etc
