This from the review of the very expensive Chord kit "The Chords define each note beautifully, but don’t always convey the music’s momentum as skilfully as we’d like." I'm sorry but what on earth does that mean?

I suggest that this is what I have seen called "sonorous abracadabra".

Didn't see that one Chris, but a bit of a similar one turned up in HFW this month for some cable or other. Even I was giving it a bit of "Eh...???" in fairness! Personally, if I'd lashed out the kind of money Chord expect for some of their stuff, I'd expect it to turn in the basics pretty handsomely!

I'll have a go at this.....

Maybe it means the music does not sound like a group playing together, but like individual musicians playing their instruments.I think some call it 'analytical sounding' - I get what it means, its like something is missing from the music....something.... that secret ingrediant...that....that....something.

I have an amp that does it...... |(
