No Phono? Does that mean you cannot connect a turntable?

Hi

I've been looking into getting a NAD C352... But it has no Phono, does this mean I can't connect my turntable? Or can i put it through the AUX input? If that's the case what do i do with the Earth wire. Excuse my naivety on the subject.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

The phono stage on low to mid level amps are always a bit ropey, so I would budget for a seperate phono stage anyway. I had very good results with the Project Phonobox SE, but things may have moved along since then.

Any seperate phono pre-amp you buy will have a screw terminal for your turntable's earth lead.

I would recommend the Rega Fono Mini A2D for £85...

Yes, you need to add a separate phonostage. The V-LPS II from Musical Fidelity is cheap and huge value for the money (tried myself)
