To all at what hifi this is a great little forum you have, its very informative and more importantly its a pleasant forum,with genuine advice and help. i hope the forum goes from strength to strength as long as there are no trouble makers like some forums who like to be little viewers who want genuine help and advice, i have had one post on this forum and was well impressed with the rersponse i got, so good luck with it.

And I would like to add that the new website is great way of communicating the latest views. I am from India and before WHF was launched here towards end of 2005 AVMax was the #1 HiFi magazine. However it didn't take much time for Indian hifi enthusiasts to conclude which one was the best magazine. Since then I regularly buy WhatHiFi instead of AVMax.
But somewhere in between WhatHiFi delayed one of it's publications (Ms. Clare Newsome was stand-in editor for one issue, later I found out Mr. Nishant Padihar from AVMax has joined Indian WhatHiFi edition as editor). There were news floating around about staff members of AVMax being biased towards certain products for reasons other than purely technical. I hope WHF is aware of these and stays clear/takes proper care of issues. Because AVMax was good and it was sad to see them sinking away.

Nishant and his new team are doing a great job with What Hi-fi? Sound and Vision India - published out of Haymarket's own Indian offices- and have lots of plans to make the title even better still.

We are in constant contact with them about content, and - as with all our overseas issues - the design, writing and technical teams work closely to maintain brand standards.
