Hey guys!

Ive just moved back in with the parents since uni has finished for me, my room is huge(new house) and was thinking of getting a new TV to cope witht the general distance away i am from the tv(4-5m) as my Sony 32D3000 is a great tv even to todays standards. I want a 3D tv as i love new toys, but i know i have to wait atleat 1-2 years to get one to sort out issues with them. :'( So i have set myself a budget of £1000 for a new tv. I had a look at Sony's 46ex503 which is very nice overall with £150 trade in for any tv! But is there anything else people could recommend i should think about?

Many thanks

Yes i did look at the g20 aswel but ive only found the 42" and its hard not see without a side by side comparison which in plymouth they either dont do the same sets together in the shop or are not willing to set up the two tv's :( I know the sony won the group test, but this was on the 40" set, and as we all know different size tvs doesnt merit the same marks in the same range that have been reviewed due to different parts in them. :( Has anyone had the chance to compair these two tvs?

I love the plasma sets from Panansonic and still might buy the VT20 but I have to admit Samsung are really coming up on the rails! and for value on plasmas!!!!!......... the Samsung C7000 50'' 3D plasma is being adertised at £1350 now - pre availability. I bet that'll be £1200 in a few months and you'll have 3D and no need to upgrade in 2 years. Borrow some cash off someone
