New to speakers-What should i consider

Hi, This is my first post here!

I have been in head-fi for a while and i've learned a lot about headphones.

But now comes the time when i need to purchase some good loudspeakers for home cinema use and also music in a pretty small room.

I have four wires for speakers hanging out from the wall.

What should i consider and what are the prices? What is the minimum i need to invest to get the most out of it? Thanks

You need to give use a little info to really help you.... Do you like detailed sound? warm sound? Do you have a brand preferance? size requirements on speakers? will you be listening at reference sound levels? only you can answer the budget question!

But i have Pioneer 2022k with dali fazon sats with a velodyne slp 1200 ultra sound good to me and its in a 4x2.5m room.

But you say you want music so maybe look at Arcam and Anthem and you say its a small room so stand mounted/sat spoeakers required.

But all above is pretty expensive subwoofer being the most. But good deals can be had!

Without knowing more we really can't point you in the right direction.
