NEW SPEAKERS HERE :D !!

My new speakers are here Eclipse flagshipers!!
Got an amazing deal on them . Three months old full warranty etc as new. Fellow had to sell for personal reasons. Set them up and been listening for about 2 hrs!
They are stunningly good! Like jaw droppingly so! Oh and the bass is shocking! Initially i thought it would have none. I was pleasently suprised! There is more than enough, more than my 805S! Quite a feat from a 12cm driver! Oh and to cap it off they are stunning to look at. Sorry nothing constructive here just felt like telling everyone thats all...🙂

Would be interested to here your impressions a couple of weeks down the line. I may have to move my system to a smaller room soon and these are on my list of potential replacements for my A6's. That price is an absolute knockout too!!

You know what, this man must be a giant! The speakers are much bigger than they seem with him next to them. Or it could just be that im a titch!

Weird, Eclipse had a demo room at the Bristol Show which I sat in for a few minutes. I guess it didn't help that the guy running the room refused to turn them up above a dull whisper but I have to be honest, they sounded like a cheap, rubbish, mini system. They had nothing to recommend them at all. Granted it's perhaps not ideal listening conditions (although there was no one else in there, I was early) but even so...

Cant really comment on that setup as i did not go to Bristol however the speakers i have are hands down the best speakers i have ever heard. In terms of realism, detail, timing, imaging and speed nothing i have ever heard comes close. I know its a cliche but the voices do sound scarily real and live performances have the total "they are here" effect. And they really do reveal previously unheard details in my favourite tunes. They do however sound different to any other speakers i have heard and you do need to get used to their sound, so they wont be to everyones taste. Other down sides are that they dont go ridiculously loud or deep. But what bass is there is very very good and they go plenty loud for me.

I just found it bizarre that anyone charged with trying to "sell" their kit (figuratively or otherwise) would set them so quietly you could barely hear it. It sounded like a radio playing in another room, I don't know what he was up to.

The fact that I was in there for about 3 minutes and the bloke didn't acknowledge my presence once didn't help either.
