Epic Super-Twin (bi-wire) would cost about £450 - £500 for a 3.0m terminated pair which is a lot to spend unless you are absolutely certain you would get proportional improvements.
I mean "absolutely certain" as in having heard it before buying, not just asking us lot.
I could upgrade my speakers for that money and get a far more profound difference than a bit of better wire.
I would agree with Chebby here unless you were thinking of a speaker cable upgrade that would last you a lifetime through 2 or more system upgrades. If the latter is the case then I see no reason why not, there's never been a better time to get a bargain.
I've upgraded my mains cables for that very reason (and of course SWMBO hasn't got a clue, whereas a new amp would be obvious).
