New soundbars from Bose

Bose has just launched 1-speaker systems.

They're going to cost $1500 for the speaker system, & $2500 for the complete system in the US. So I expect them to cost £1400-1500 for the speaker system (that's going into B&W soundbar territory!), & £2400-2500 for the complete system in UK.

Any chance of a review?

Im about to get the yammy YSP-2200, but will hold fire, again bose lacks connectivity?

I would be surprised if Bose allow a completely impartial review of one of the products. Ideally a group shootout would be perfect, but will Bose agree to that?

I'm sure Bose SoundDocks have been reviewed as a group test.

The soundbars do look smart & having a wireless subwoofer is appealing. But it all boils down to sound quality.

I've so far been disappointed by their home cinema (lifestyle) systems & been impressed with their computer speakers & noise cancelling headphones.

What happened to Bose TV? WHF promised a review few months ago.

purchased the Yammy YSP2200 today from richer sounds. Watched Tron on it tonight....mind blowing.
