new setup - advice please

ok first .....

As an owner of the HRT I think that is an excellent purchase.

I would lose the Wireworld ultra ....just use a generic usb cable( save some money)

the QED bi wire I dont think is needed,,,just £5 m regular speaker cable

yes to the Lindy...

not really sure you need the copper audio.

everything else should give you a great Uni set up......

just save some money on the cables........and spend it on beer...

I would tend to agree.

I would use a generic usb cable. If you want some decent analog interconnects you don't need to go to overboard. Try the QED Performance 1 or the Chord Crimson Plus.

Spend as much on your components at possible at first then if you want to try power cables etc later on then you can add them when you have the spare cash.

Or, you could try to find a second hand pair of Dynaudio Focus 110. You wouldn't need a sub with these. As much as you love bass without having a large space you won't get much if any benefit from a sub alongside the Dyn's.

In terms of speaker wire, some of the QED wires are cheap, but come unterminated. How important is the termination? Is it better to have a decent wire that is terminated or a good wire unterminated? I think the a5's have banana plug inputs, so I dont know if unterminated wire can connect to them.
