New Denon/Pioneer blueray players - how good is DVD upscaling?

Hi I've read few articles about the new range of Denon/Pioneer blueray players coming soon to the market. Do you know how good is going to be DVD upscaling? How do they compare to equivalent DVD players?

Only having seen demo models - and playing Blu-ray, not DVD - it's impossible to say right now.

Both manufacturers are certainly claiming they'll offer superior DVD upscaling, but then they would, wouldn't they?

we're just going to have to wait for the review models to make a more
measured judgement. Will find out from Denon on Friday when we're going
to have the Blu-ray player in our hands....
