NEW COAXIAL CABLE?

I’m about to move my living room around. So instead of the 1m of cable connecting the cable box to the (cable Cº) box on the wall I now need 6m. I’m not sure what kind of cable to look out for? (What it’s known as) It’s like the TV coaxial cable only thicker and with screw-thread connectors on each end and a bare core. ? Will I need a special kind of cable for this distance? ? Where can I get such a cable with or without connectors?

Probably 75ohm satellite cable. Give the cable company a buzz and ask them, or if you're in the UK have a look at a site such as Maplin and I am sure it will have something suitable. This looks suitable, and the same company will have suitable connectors.
