New buds, not inside my head

Hi all,

my trusty Bose (no, that other post wasn't from me) earphones are starting to die on me. They're the in-ear type that don't go right down in to the ear canal. I don't like the sensation from having something that far down my ear. These are occasional use, mainly for when I'm on holiday and on a sun-lounger so don't want my over the ears on.

With a budget of up to around £100, what would you recommend as a replacement? Again, not something that burrows in like a Babel fish

You can get the Bang and Olufsen A8 for £100. No idea if they justify their price, but they are non-penatrative...

I often wonder with B&O if you're paying as much for the brand as the product?

I found the Bose to be quite good, but like the B&O I suspect there is better for less, or much better for the same money.
