New amp for first time buyer

Hi people

 I am looking at getting a new home cinema amp and have narrowed it down to two. From first looks, I really wanted the Yamaha DSP-AX863SE, however Yamaha have sold out country wide and when speaking to two stockists they say they have presold all their next delivery in February also.

 This got me looking into another amp, and I found the Sony STR-DA2400ES. Now in my opinion it looks better than the Yamaha, and from comparing the stats on What HI-FI, it seems to have all of the same and more features than the Yamaha. Obviously all the reviews/forums point towards the Yamaha, but it doesn't look like it will available until at least middle of Feb.

 Should I wait for this, or is the Sony 2400ES worth getting, especially as it is around £200 cheaper?

I don't know where you are but Sevenoaks in Loughton had the 863 today when I walked in. Check your local branch if you're not local maybe.
