New 55 inch TV - which?

After a new 55 inch tv - 2D picture quality is what I'm after (sound not important) - prime source is Sky HD and also have a Panasonic BD player.

I have around £1500 to spend and so far have briefly loked at a couple of Samsung and LG models - like the almost invisible bezel on some of the new tvs.

Any advice would be greatly received.

Panasonic? I would not focus too much on the bezel, more the picture.

You really should audition the Panasonic TX-P55VT65B. It's a fair bit over budget, but it's worth it.

Failing that, the TX-P55ST60 is closer to £1,500.

I doubt Currys will have them, you will probably have to look at the VT50 if you are lucky!
