need some advice

I just purchased a pair of B&W 703's and im currantly using a cambride audio 840a amp and sacd denon cd player.

the problem is the amp may be a little underpowered and a little to bright for the speakers,i wont some advice on weather to purchace the cambridge audio power amp or a different brand....dont want to spend anymore than about $3000 aussie dollars,I need to match it all with something with a little more bass...from the amp
