Ok TattyMatty there are several choices mostly small traditional speakers and the odd style package. Firstly decide what you prefer, generally you will find the traditional speaker will give you a more natural realistic sound then style speakers but dont dissmiss them as you can still acheive a great sound. I ve also got the 606 and use Quad-lites a traditional speaker small and compact but delivers great sound, clear and natural and plenty of bass from the sub easily upgradeable to 7.1 or larger fronts from other Quad ranges. These sadly are now discontinued but you may find some around in limited supply and colour. So i would also look at these as an alternative to the Quads there are Q Acoustic 1010i and other ranges which you could mix and match from £450 with free speaker cable bundle . MK K1 system MK make a good quality speaker sometimes used in recording studios and this package is compact and very explosive for the size of speakers at £595. Then we have two Tannoy packages the first a traditional speaker the Tannoy Mercury F1 customs for £699 with speaker cable bundle. Now for the second Tannoy the first style speaker the Arena lites at £799 this package comes with speaker mounts and cable bundle. And lastly the obvious choice for a lot would be the Kefs 2005.3 at £699. All this speaker packages are great and worth listening too, but for me its the Quadlites. Hope this helps you
