Need help to fix a speed problem with my TT

Bought a used TT couple of days ago, which was in great condition. It's a Technics SL-DD33, and the first day it plays amazing and I'm really happy. Next day it starts having these "drops" in speed and pitch which are really annyoing. It's a DD so it can't be an old belt, and it doesn't have fine pitch controls, so it can't be that I have to clean those.

Here is a quick video I snapped, showing how it sounds.

I've opened her up and fiddled with some electronics cleaner here and there and also some lubricant, but now a few days later the problem is still there. Something that might be worth noting is that it takes a few minutes to "kick in" but once it starts its all over the place.

Please help me, or I will have to return the TT and ask for my money back.

I think you may have discovered why the previous owner offloaded it. Does it have a speed switch? Doe the speed vary if you fiddle with it? Could be worth a squirt of Servisol.
