Need help building a system

Anybody have any suggestions on amps, pre-amp and cd player. I just bought B&W' 683. I'm considering cambrideg 840a with cambridge cd player or possibly rotel. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm also going to ocassionally listen to movies through the system but don't intend to have surround sound.

let's say $2500 for 2-3 components. Would that be sufficient enough for the speakers that I bought?
