Is there a reason you can't (or don't want to) go larger than a 32" inch screen? I ask because you can get some cracking TVs for your budget.

BB's recommendations are good value at their respective price points, though something feels off to me about spending more on a soundbar than the TV it's connected to.

Hi I just thought 30" or 32" was a good size for a bedroom saying that I do have a large bedroom so I might go bigger is it a good time to buy a smart tv or should I wait.

Just under £1,366 (according to bigboss's recomendation) seems like a lot of money to spend on a bedroom tv.

It isn't clear if the OP's budget of £1200 includes the soundbar or not. :)

I do agree however, that you could go for a 42-inch TV in your budget and there are many great options at that price.

Hi yes £600 - £1,200 for a tv & I'm going to spend separately on a sound bar

TVs are like computers, there's NEVER a good time to buy one, if you wait for the new ones to come out they're too expensive, if you wait for them to come down in price you keep thinking "If I wait another few weeks they might be even cheaper" and then eventually you realise you're only a month or so away from the new ranges coming out, so you wait for them but then they're too expensive so you want for them to come down in price... and then you realise you've spent all the money on something else.
