Hi folks,

Thanks for the advice so far!

I’ve not opted for the Denon DM37, but for separates.

My budget is low, so I need to make the right choices – so I’m asking for more advice now.

I want to listen to CDs and good MP3s. (rock, pop and jazz)

I bought a NAD C515 CR player on Ebay (Ex display so comes with full guarantee which is great).

I currently have a pair of KEF Coda 7 bookshelf speakers (but may upgrade at some point – they are getting old).

The next question is amp. I have a budget of ~ £100-125.

That means either buy new for £100, or get something which was £200-300 on Ebay for £100 (or a clearance bargain)

So, my thoughts at this point are NAD C320,C340,C350 from Ebay which can be got for ~£65-85. (the C325BEE or C326BEE are newer and still ~ £150-200 upwards so probably out of my budget)

A guy at Richer sounds suggested the TEAC AGH300 receiver used to retail at ~£250 but is being sold for £80.

Can anyone suggest which is the better buy soundwise?

Am I ignoring any other great amps to search for online?

(Denon? Marantz? Others?)

Thanks,

mark

Stick to eBay and get yourself a NAD C320BEE

Superb amp; wa sa 5 star winner in it's time and it's still a damn fine amp now and a LOT better than the TEAC you've been offered!

It'll do very well with your nad CDP and the Kef speakers
