NAD C545 or C515

I need to replace my broken cd player, subsequently, do i replace it with a NAD C545 into my NAD C326 amp or do i buy the cheaper NADC515 and run it thoruogh my DacMagic?

all comments and advice please!

I would go for the 545BEE as this would be a brilliant pair with the amp you mention. You could get an extended warranty if you are worried about reliability.

TBH if you're going to run the CDP through the DAC then you dont need to fork out the £££ for a NAD C545BEE

It's a brilliant CDP and I NEVER had ANY issues with mine which I had for close to 16months

IMO save yourself some £££ and get the likes of an Arcam Alpha 7SE or 8SE CDP; superb transports which are quiet and it'll feed your DAC superbly
