NAD C 315 BEE (Ampli) hot in sleep mode...normal?

Hi,

I've recently bought a an ampli NAD C 315 BEE and I noticed it is really hot when in sleep mode (after using it, it does not get cooler even worth)

The technical service where i brought it back dares to tell me that's normal....

Do you have any information about this? I can't believe it's normal.

Did anyone who's got it notice it?

I have the same amp, and while I wouldn't say it was hot, it's definately warm during standby. Not quite sure why and I often wondered myself if this was the case, but if I'm going to be leaving it un used for a large period of time I usually just turn it off with the power switch round the back. Then it goes cold.
