my system so far

hi guys fairly new to the site so will start by saying hi. Hi!

anyway, have got to a stage building a system were i'm happy with the sound for now, untill my pennies grow again! so thought i'd share it with you.

component wise i have a marantz cd6002 source feeding a roksan kandy L111 amp connected together with a chord chamelean silver plus interconnect. b&w 685's (brass links replaced) connected via chord carnival silverscreen sit on nexus 6 stands 2/3 filled with white sand. stands are placed on granite plinths approx 1 1/2in thick.

next on my list is a decent rack for my electronics and most prob a spinner upgrade when i can afford it, however haven't even started to think about that yet, or have i seein as i've just said it's on my list! hi-fi =obbsession.

Sounds like an excellent system that you've spent as much time as me perfecting

Maybe the next step could be a DAC, something I want to explore next year (maybe!).

hi, DAC for converting songs downloaded on the computer right? if so i don't use a computer for music, to many rubbish files imo.

685's have had over 100 hours now and i can't fault them on my varied music taste. top end is crisp and refined with exceptional level of detail, the low end powerfull when needed with increased controll since i added the granite.
