My quest for Wifi has begun

A Zeppelin purchased from Sevenoakes for £370 has been checked and is now boxed ready for Christmas for my Son, whereas my daughter, will receive from Amazon is the KEF Picoforte 1 at a bargain prices of £129.99 to go with her ipod that will both be supported by a Sonos setup idc.

Unfortunately I have to wait until end of March to receive my goodies, but my quest has begun.....

I have now heard the Soundcast compared to Bose for outside Hifi and the Soundcast was superior. The Cyrus XP System sounds better with KEF iQ 50 that take less room than iQ30 with bigger stands. The Bass was lighter but more refined that grew on me and will be a hit with my wife.

I have contacted Ashley and will listen to the AVI ADM 9.1 setup in early 2010. My wife now has ipod touch and I recently have invested in the Yamaha YDS-11 Docking station that works well with the 5 Channel Stereo setting of the Soundbar as an interim measure. Roll on April 2010 when I can complete this phase.

I have finally made my first purchase for the kitchen at a cracking price:-

Wharfedale Diamonds 9.0 in black finish. I used to have the original version that came out in 1980 and the Mk IIs so I am aware what these spkrs can deliver.

This is the part I am most looking forward to in 2010 is to audition the AVI and I am more than happy to share my experience as I have previously hinted on a similar thread months ago.
