My NAD CD tray wont open

My CD NAD541BEE wont open. When I try to open it, I hear an ugly humming sound. The cd stuck inside
and still can be played
Any Idea how can I open the tray?

Take the top off and fix it. After having removed the power connection.

the belt may have failed.

Thanks it help, but was no exactly explain how to pull it out (i tried many time and suddenly it open) but after i replace the rubber belt it does not read the CD (i just put a rubber that i have at home)
Frankly although its a gr8 CD player its very frustrating.

Now it mysteriously after i did it again it started to work, have no idea why !

Don't knock it! Sometimes mechanical parts can jam, often with little major in the way of cause.
