The Dark Knight

Knowing

Planet Earth Box set

Band of Bothers Box Set

Baraka

Casino Royale

Quantum of Solace

Hell Boy 2

and of course I'm hoping the ultimate blu-rays will be Star Wars and the lord of the rings box sets (when they are eventually released)

Got Star Trek last week. In my humble opinion the best looking/ sounding blu ray I have played so far, loved the film too which helps.

Tough one but here is my choice:

Casino Royale

Watchmen Directors cut

300

Iron Man

The Shining

Wall.E

Cloverfield (incredible sound)

Hellboy 2

Star Trek (got it today, amazing bluray)

2001

You already have 3 excellent blurays on order as both Batman movies are brilliant blurays plus excellent films too. I am Legend has a top notch picture and sound transfer even if the movie slightly dissappoints at the end. All of the above suggestions i would also agree with but i too am really looking forward to the eventual release of both the Star Wars and Lord of the Rings....will be a long wait though i fear.

In addition to the above, I'd add:

Kids films - Monsters Inc and Wall-E

Adult films - Slumdog Millionaire (particularly for the soundtrack, which won the Oscar last year)

Constant Gardener, stunning film.
