Hi guys, first post here so hi. just recently bought an a5 pre amp, and am now looking for a suitable power amp to match, namely the a5 power amp. I see that a few guys here have this amp could u guys enlighten me on its performance?

currently i have a 5 channel pass labs x5 amp and am wondering whether using a 2 channel amp will really lift the sound performance?

also im having a hard time finding one for sale!

any replies welcome, thanks.

I would stick with Pass Labs, if your speakers can be bi-wire why not use 4 out of 5 channels of mr. Nelson amp?

thanks for the reply, yes i have thought about that, how exactly would that be done? i still believe a 2 channel amp would outperform the pass? the mf a5 has alot more power which i think i need, as the bass isnt as deep nor extended, as wen i demoed my a5 pre with sum mf 550k superchargers. the sound was totally different , voices seemed so large and bass was so tight but u could feel it. i dont get the same with my system. This was only with my little mission bookself speakers and couldnt believe they sounded like that.

so i think il defo change to a 2 channel amp. it would be useful if any a5 power amp users could comment?
