Musical Fidelity A308CR - Preamp question..

Hi

Does anyone have any experience of this pre-amplifier?

I'm looking to make the change from my fairly newish integrated MF M3i as seems like this is being wasted using it only as a preamp and may be better off having a dedicated pre. Does this seem like a sensible upgrade?

Hi... sorry but I do not have the experience of the mentioned pre amp. However... what made you buy an M3 integrated amp instead of a pre amp in the beginning?

Did you try bi amping the PMC 22 with the M3 and A5?

Hi El Hefe, thanks for the reply. I had the M3i with another pair of speakers before changing to the PMC and was interested in giving the 22s some more power so added the A5CR power amp. Interesting you mention about bi-amping with M3i and A5 as someone else mentioned that this could be a good setup too..What would be the best way to wire this? The A308CR is on its way for delivery next week so I can try out a few combinations with the M3i and A5CR vs A308CR and A5CR and see how they compare..
