Hello,

Not sure if I'm missing something around multi-room provision, and hoping people with experience can advise.

As I understand it this allows the amplifier to be used in more than one room at once, sometimes with the loss of a couple of speakers in the main room. It seems that the speakers and kit being used in the other room(s) need to have long wire runs back to the amp, or I suppose the kit excluding speakers could be in the main amp room, and IR extenders used to control it.

I think that's it but then unless the other rooms are near the main amp room, there's loads of long cabling to be done. This appears on reasonably priced amps, but surely unless you've got a really expensive amp you'd be better with maybe lesser stereo or AV amps in the other rooms rather than buying and running a load of cables, maybe even repeaters, which may turn out pretty expensive?

Just wondering am I missing something or is this how multi-rrom works? Any advice mmuch appreciated.
