Moveing from Sky+ to Freesat??

Hi...we have Sky+....if we got Freesat, would we need to keep our Sky+ box to recieve HD programmes?.Any other info about changing welcome. Thanks Ian

Edit...I've just seen that a Freesat box will cost about £180...Our TV has Freeview built in...this doesnt work yet...will come on next year...maybe I should wait?? ian

If you already have Sky+ why would you need to get Freesat? Just stop paying Sky and the box will give you the Freesat channels, you don't have to do anything else.

Err, yes, that's what I just said?

Yes, unless you pay Sky ten quid a month. That would work out the same as buying the Freesat box you mentioned if you did that for 18 months.
