I've just taken a look at the Telegraph website to find that i'm currenly top of the What Hi-Fi mini league. One of the original posts fom Claie when inviting people to join the league mentioned monthly prize winners.

Do i get anything for being top in August ???

you raise a good point there actually prof, how is a monthly prize for top spot gonna be awarded, since potentially the teams in top spot will be changing frequently over the course of a month, guess what i;m askin if its the person in top spot at the end of the month who wins

that would mean that the same person would win a lot of the prizes, i assume there going to give the prize to the person who has gained the most points in that month, which may not be the person in the lead on points overall....?

Hmm, good point - this could also mean the same person wins a lot of the prizes though. I think I'll just leave it to the team to decide as it seems too complicated to me now!!

It's not complicated people! Monthly prizes go to the top scoring team for the relevant month. If you go to the leaderboard you can see that you can view it by week or month or overall.

Personally I'm just happy to be sitting just above Ms Newsome & Mr Mourinho!

Starts to get good now the transfers kick in!

Hey don't worry, SWP wont play every week now that Robinho has signed for city...with Jo & Robinho up front, and assuming Petrov plays on the left and Hamman "holding" it's between Johnson, Ireland, SWP & Elano for two places.

Actually, having though about it I'd like to win this thing so ignore the above, if I were you I'd transfer in...Eduardo...or Ngog!

Is there a prize for the Month 2 winner of Fantasy Football ?

With just 2 days more of fixtures before the endof month it's tight at the top with just a single point seperating 1st (Anthony Grace - Professor Football) and 2nd (Gut Ainley - Dirty Dawgs).

Yes, there's a prize - as there will continue to be every month!

I may just bend the rules slightly, however, and see who's on top on Monday morning (3rd), which is when we'll be in the office after the Show and ready to name the prize winner. One more weekend to gather points!
