Is it? I'm constantly being told the Silvers (not Phil) are deficient. . .then again I might return today with my tail between my legs.

Well lets just see what the new range is like and you can judge for yourself then

The RX8 in Piano Black look superb for the money, always a big factor for me.....

We wait for the sound characteristics next.......

They do look very interesting

What will be interesting to know is how well they compare to the RS range (for me the RS6's are very hard to beat currently unless you spend c£1k plus so the new range will have to do exceptionally well)!

Very cool. And in keeping with MA tradition, they look quite sexy! Can't wait to hear 'em.

I'm surprised that companies don't have their web sites ready when they do a press release for a new product...

I'm really pleased we're going to have a chance to review at least some of the new Monitor Audio RX speakers before our Awards issue.

The speaker category is hotting up nicely - review of the new Wharfedale Diamond 10 speakers in our new issue, and still plenty of new kit to come - think we get some world exclusive Dalis next!

Drat. Blast. Etc.

I have RS6's, so I'm disappointed that they've been replaced. I don't really care about having the old model, but I'm not ready (pesky credit crunch!) to add the rest of the speakers I need to complete my surround set-up. If stocks of the current range run out quickly, as I imagine they will, I'm kinda stuffed.

Ah well, if anyone spots some clearance deals on the current range, I'd be very appreciative if they pop the details in the bargain section!

I think you have nothing to worry about. RS range was so popular that there will be second hand speakers available for some time to come.
