Anyone have any or know where I can get something to fit? My piano black Studio 10's have been sat gathering dust since the bass drivers packed up many years ago. Have already tried Monitor Audio but they don't carry the spares anymore. Such a beautiful set of speakers I can't bare to throw them away.

You could try a place like Wilmslow Audio .

http://www.wilmslow-audio.co.uk/repair-and-upgrade-service-4-w.asp

Or maybe here .

http://www.technosound.co.uk/eShop/ssMA.html

and

http://www.electromarket.co.uk/category/Speakers/Drivers

or

http://www.madisound.com/services/retrofits.php

There are many places like these , just phone around and ask for advice and info , there is bound to be someone who can help :)

Hi Goski! If one day you decide to replace your Studio 10's, I would like to purchase the tweeters to keep them as a spare for my Studio 6's.

The only way of getting original mid-bass speakers is by purchasing second hand loudspeakers from the Studio Series.

You may also have them repaired and the Studio 10's may sound good after being serviced, but be aware they will never sound exactly like they used to be anymore. If I were you, I'd use the cabinets together with a new speaker set. There are many better speakers like Scanpeak Revelator or Seas Excel.

I used to have red anodised tweeters. I blew those a long time ago. Luckily when I used to work at Arcam I rang Monitor Audio & they let me have a new pair of gold tweeters for a mere £20! Wish I had got some new bass drivers back then as well. Since MA moved to Essex they haven't been so helpful. Thanks for the advice. I'll look in to getting them repaired
