Monitor Audio downsize???

Hi all,

I have just set up a dedicated music system upstairs consisting of MA RS1 and Arcam gear. It sounds brilliant.

However I still have my RS5 RSLCR Radius 90 combo downstairs as my home cinema. I was thinking of downsizing to a full Radius HD system as they are great looking and take up far less room. Does anyone think this is stupid? I won't really be using the downstairs system for music listening now just a bit of background mp3s or something. It will be 99% BDs and DVDs.

When I had the R90HDs I found they sounded quite similar to the RS1s except for a lot less bass. As long as a sub was involved I think you will be happy with them.

Thanks for the reply. I too find MA's silver and radius ranges to have very similar tonal sigs.

Anyone else with any thoughts?

Hi jonesm,

I use Radius HD's and I am very happy with them all round, and yes they do look great also.
