Massive Hum with Airport Express

Hi there,

recently i tried to connet my Airport Express to my Arcam Alpha 7 via MiniJack(on Airport) and Cinch (on Alpha). The Ruesult was just a massive hum, and very, very low gain of Audio. I'll tried to use different ports, all the same result. I also tried to connect via my old MD Recorder as an Input device, still getg massive hum ....

All other devices work absolutely fine, no hum whatsoever (CD; DVD; Tuner, SAT)

Any Ideas what i could do?

Sounds to me like the cable is faulty
