Marantz PM7200 amp

Would you still consider this amp to be quite good, I know it won a fair few rewards when it first came out and I still like the sound seems to suit my setup just like to know if the new Marantz amp is much better.

i had this amp and loved it,i only sold it to fund another project but in the future i would buy another one for a second system or even a main system it's that good.the class a mode is fantastic.how it measures up to todays amps is hard to gauge but i would imagine it stacks up nicely,probably a future classic.
