Marantz pm6005 shuts off by it self?

My newly bought marantz pm6005 shut it self off a couple of times, very weird.

I had to turn it on again witht the remote/amp power.

Anyone know something about this?

From your manual...

Press and hold SOURCE DIRECT for more than 5 seconds to turn the Auto Standby mode off.

Press and hold SOURCE DIRECT for more than 5 seconds to turn the Auto Standby mode on.

It has a 'eco mode' and turns off..... Should be able to switch the feature off though.

• This unit will automatically enter Auto standby mode after about

continuous 30 minutes in the following conditions.

• No output from the selected input source.

• No operation performed on the remote control.

• No operation of <SPEAKERS A/B>, <LOUDNESS>, <SOURCE

DIRECT> or <INPUT SELECTOR>.

Same thing happens with the UD7007 player too.
