Marantz pm6003 headphone problem

Have had my Marantz PM6003 for a few years now. Don't use it very often to be honest. Tried using it couple of days back with my headphones but sound still coming through speakers even with headphones plugged in (and sound coming through headphones too).

I know I'm probably doing (or not doing) something really simple, but grateful for any advice.

I've not used that model but on the 6004 you have to switch the speakers off, plugging the headphones in doesn't do that. It probably has 'A' and 'B' speaker buttons. Make sure they are both off.
