Here's a weird one for you - has anybody seen plugs where the cable routing comes out of the surface of the plug, instead of the bottom of it?

Like this (but so I can wire in the cable, as opposed to put a two pin plug in it)

try www.russandrews.co.uk and look under mains accesories page 2

Why not take the top off and solder directly onto the live and neutral pins............

JohnDuncan:Dear old Russ, should have thought of him. And that's the fella, but......twenty five quid?!?!?!??!

Yep. Rarely do the words 'Russ', 'Andrews' and 'Bargain' appear in the same sentence.......... Except that last one of course.

MK Toughplugs are all you need. (About a fiver each)

Or go mad and get silver plated ones for £9.50 each...

(John, if you do go Naim you get MK plugs as standard.)

Yeah, I've used those before to make up my own cables and I agree they're all the quality you need, but the key here is where the cable comes out of - have to come out of the back, not the bottom, and I'm not seeing that there....
