1. Is there any point in buying a mains conditioning block for a CD8x that is already hooked up to a PSX-R?
2. I've seen some non-hi-fi extension cables that offer 'surge protection'. £13 for 6 sockets. I'm presuming therefore that it'll afford me zero sonic benefit but might buy me some piece of mind protecting my shiny toys. However, is it really a good idea to plug all your kit into one extension lead?
3. I run a Bravia, CD8x, PSX-R, 8vs, PS3, Sky HD, Onkyo 875, MJ Accoutics Pro 50 and have even taken the step of adding extra sockets on the ring main to ensure it's not overloaded - some of those puppies get a little hot! Is it okay to plug 4 components into one power block, even if I buy it from B&Q as rather than Sevenoaks?
